Booking Terms

Please see below the booking terms for groups of 8+ guests:

MINIMUM SPEND AND OTHER AGREED POINTS :

A minimum spend or other requirements may be agreed at time of booking and may simply be agreed by exchange of email and / or added to the Group Booking Form for the event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All bookings of 8 or more diners are subject to the terms and conditions stated here.

PAYMENT :

For events with a minimum spend requirement, as specified in the booking proposal, the full amount will be paid in advance of the event. This can be paid in full at the time of booking or in two instalments : a 20% deposit to secure the date and confirm the booking. The balance of the minimum spend paid in full 15 days before the event.

For events where a minimum spend is not required, the deposit as specified in the booking proposal is required to confirm the booking and secure the date. The balance is to be paid at the restaurant on the day of the event, or in advance for all pre-ordered items if the payee is not present at the event.

ONLY VALID FOR THIRD-PARTY MUSICAL HIRE:

If bringing third party musicians NOT organised by 28°-50° or Global Acts (contractor of 28°-50° by Night), then a deposit of £1,000 will need to be paid, which will be returned upon checking of inventory.

PAYMENT METHOD: Payment can be made via our secure payment system either over the phone or in person in the restaurant.

Please note, the person booking the event must also be the person paying the deposit and the minimum spend. This must be one and the same person.

We do not accept cash at this venue.

A LA CARTE: Available for groups of up to 12 guests

SET MENUS: Choose from our group set menu, buffet & canapé menu, or a bespoke menu tailored to your specifications.

WINE TASTING: For all wine tasting events please specify which wine tasting you have selected (please note, this must be the same one for the whole group) or discuss a bespoke wine tasting for your event.

SERVICE CHARGE: A 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.

ROOM HIRE:

We do not charge for room hire, except for venue takeovers. On certain days, we will ask for a minimum spend. This will be confirmed at the time of booking and covers the use of the space booked, the food and drinks VAT and service charge.

Should the minimum spend not be met, the remaining balance will be charged as a hire fee.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE:

For exclusive hire of the entire restaurant/bar facilities this can be arranged and the amounts for room hire and / or minimum spend will be confirmed at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

GROUPS OF 8-12 GUESTS

A cancellation fee of 10% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 48 hours before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is applied for cancelling a booking less than 24 hours before the booked event.

A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 5pm the day before the event or you may be charged 100% of the cost for the missing diners (ie the set menu reserved for each diner cancelled). The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.

GROUPS OF 13-19 GUESTS

A cancellation fee of 10% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 7 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 50% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 72 hours before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 48 hours before the booked event.

GROUPS OF 20-29 GUESTS

A cancellation fee of 10% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 14 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 50% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 7 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 72 hours before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is applied if more than 5 guests are removed from the group booking between 48 hours and 7 days before the booked event. Fees are calculated from the number of people cancelled and the set menu reserved. The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.

GROUPS OF 30+ GUESTS

A cancellation fee of 10% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 21 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 50% is applied for cancelling an entire booking less than 10 14 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is charged for cancelling an entire booking less than 7 days before the booked event.

A cancellation fee of 100% is applied if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking between 48 hours and 10 days before the booked event. The fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked or minimum spend* that was quoted. The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.

Groups of 30 guests or more must pre-select beverages from our wine list before arriving.

*Minimum spend will be notified at the time of booking

GENERAL CONDITIONS

You undertake to comply (and to ensure that your guests comply) with all applicable laws, licences, regulations and policies in force at 28°-50° by Night, including, but not limited to, ensuring that no fire exits and routes are obstructed at any time.

Management reserves the right to eject from, or refuse admission to, 28°-50° by Night any visitor deemed in the reasonable opinion of our staff to be intoxicated, unruly, threatening, violent or dangerous. We will not in any circumstances permit the number of guests to exceed the capacity of the 28°-50° by Night.

If, in our reasonable opinion, the nature of the event or the type of clientele is different from the event details as stated on this booking form, we may in our absolute discretion cancel your booking without liability

Any damage to, or theft of, property at 28°-50° by Night (including, but not limited to, music equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings and any other property of 28°-50° by Night) caused by you or your guests will be charged to you at full replacement cost.
